Engineering Installation of SUJAY (YD 1223)

The Sujay (Yard No. 1223) is an Advanced Offshore Patrol Vessel (AOPV-6) built by Goa Shipyard Ltd for the Indian Coast Guard. Designed for long-range maritime surveillance, coastal security, and rescue missions, Sujay enhances India's maritime enforcement capabilities. The vessel is equipped with advanced navigation, communication, and surveillance systems, ensuring superior operational efficiency during patrol and interception missions. The engineering installation was executed under Work Order No. 701150 dated 03.11.2015, with project initiation in February 2016. The installation was successfully completed on 21st December 2017. Sujay represents a critical asset to the Indian Coast Guard in maintaining maritime security and safeguarding the nation’s economic interests.
